If people use fire extinguishers in an inappropriate or improper way they could cause themselves or others serious harm and they could even become trapped in the fire. If fire fighting equipment is provided at work, it is important that the people who are expected to use it are trained how to do so. This course has been developed to include live training whereby delegates have the opportunity to extinguish a real fire. This is reliant on the provision of a safe place where the training equipment can be set up. This training is fully customised to include your fire extinguisher types (and procedures as applicable) and as such it is available only as a closed course. All of our fire extinguisher courses are delivered by ex-Fire and Rescue personnel. They are all experts in their field with vast operational experience, which is backed up by training from the Fire Service College and qualifications from the NEBOSH and The Institute of Fire Engineers.
