Lynwood provides training to help organisations comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Our trainers are experts in their field and are all ex- Fire and Rescue Service training providers. Each has vast operational experience and has been trained by the Fire Service College, which is backed up by further qualifications from NEBOSH and The Institute of Fire Engineers. Our training is offered as in house and can be provided at your location.
Fire safety training should be especially relevant to your employees and all of fire training courses can be fully customised to reflect your fire safety provisions. If you have a high turnover of staff and a need to run regular fire safety training it may be cost effective to train your own staff to deliver internal induction training. If so, we can help.
If your organisation needs fire wardens or fire marshals they will need to be trained so that they can perform their tasks effectively. Our fire marshal training course gives delegates an in depth understanding of their responsibilities and what they can expect to happen in the event of a fire.
All organisations must carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment it must be recorded where there are 5 or more employees and it must be reviewed regularly. In small organisations, where there is a low risk of fire and the likely consequences are low too, employing an external fire risk assessor may be excessive in terms of both cost and effort. For such circumstances we provide fire risk assessor training.
For organisations with more than a low level of risk from fire we have expert consultants who can undertake your fire risk assessment, provide an in depth report with guidance on legal compliance and how things might be improved, help to formulate your fire plan and to develop your provisions and processes in terms of fire safety. Our report includes a management and building overview and identifies who is at risk including the disabled, young people and your visitors. It will identify potential ignition sources and provide photographic reporting of significant findings. Our specialist fire consultants will provide recommendations, where they are needed, on how to improve your fire safety provisions.
Whether you need help with your fire safety provisions or with the delivery of training to your employees we are here to help. Go ahead, send us an email or give us a call.
