What are IOSH all about
Who are IOSH
The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is a chartered body for health and safety professionals and they are the biggest health and safety organisation in the world.
IOSH is a registered charity, which was formed in 1945 with the aim to improve and maintain health and safety standards through the provision of impartial and authoritative guidance. IOSH and Lynwood share an ethos of working alongside organisations to help reduce accidents by raising health and safety awareness and improving standards.
We offer a range of excellent courses developed by IOSH to help organisations to develop their employees so that they can contribute to a safer, happier and more profitable workplace. They are delivered by practicing health and safety professionals who, in addition to their considerable health and safety experience, are certified teachers or trainers with an excellent track record of success in delivering training, including these IOSH courses. Courses currently offered by Lynwood include IOSH Managing Safely and IOSH Working Safely.
Our courses are available for delivery at your work location or at a venue close to your location as closed courses. Many, including our IOSH courses, are also available as open courses at our training suite in Dukinfield, Tameside, near Manchester.
