Who are IOSH?
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the Chartered body for health and safety professionals. With more than 37,000 members, they’re the biggest professional health and safety organisation in the world.

They were founded in 1945, when the Institution of Industrial Safety Officers (IISO) was formed from a division of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and they developed over the years, became IOSH and gained the Royal Charter in 2002.
