Only £135 for HSE Approved First Aid at Work Training
First Aid Course Outline
If you are based in or near to Manchester you may be interesed in attending one of our First Aid at Work courses in our training centre in Greater Manchester. Alternatively we will deliver your training at your venue if you prefer.
All organisations need to make some arrangements for First Aid provisions. In most cases that includes trained First Aiders. This 3 day First Aid course provides HSE approved training as required by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. If your assessment shows that you do not need a First Aid at Work trained first aider then take a look at our 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course. Organisations are required to undertake an assessment of their first aid needs in order to ascertain whether they need a full First aid at Work qualified person or an emergency first aider.

It is important to us here at Lynwood that we qualify quality first aiders, after all someone’s life may one day depend on them. That’s why we use a relaxed training style with diverse delivery techniques to encourage participation. We know that this promotes learning and makes the whole experience more enjoyable. There is no reliance on the ability of your delegates to read complicated medical text or to write extensive notes. All of the information is presented verbally and is backed up with visual presentation.

Confirmation of Training
The learning is confirmed by practical assessment, which is undertaken by an independent, third party First Aid at Work assessor.
Course Duration
3 Days
To help organisations with releasing employees during busy periods Lynwood provide weekend training days for closed courses at no extra cost.
Location
Lynwood - The Old Courthouse
Client location by request.
The Lynwood training centre in The Old Courthouse, which is conveniently located for the Greater Manchester area, provides the perfect environment for your delegate’s first aid training. The nature of this training requires that people get down on the floor on their hands and knees. We know from courses that we have attended in the past that doing this on the sticky carpet of a pub taproom or on a tiled surface is not pleasant. Our training room is carpeted, clean and well lit. On the other hand, our training centre is not on the Salford Keys but that just means that you don’t have to pay for the view.
