Lynwood provide a range of HSE approved First Aid courses in Manchester and to the surounding area, all of which are fully endorsed by the HSE including First Aid at Work, Emergency First Aid at Work, Re-Qualifier and Annual Update training. If our training centre near Manchester is too far for your delegates to travel then we can travel to you.
Having someone trained in First Aid and able to react quickly and correctly in any situation requiring treatment is not only common sense crucial to the well-being of your employees and visitors, it is more often than not, a requirement of the law.
Even seemingly minor incidents, if not treated quickly and correctly, and recorded accurately, may lead to serious future consequences … and cost.
The important thing is though, that when you come to Lynwood for your training we provide so much more than just an ‘off-the-shelf’ course. By request we'll help you with your assessment and advise you how to select the most appropriate personnel to become First Aiders. On completion of the training, all delegates are independently assessed by a HSE approved third party assessor.
Employers are required by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 to undertake a risk assessment to establish their first aid training needs. Since October 2009 the guidance that sits with these Regulations has required employers to provide a fully qualified First Aid at Work trained person (3 day course); an Emergency First Aid at Work trained person (1 day course) or, where the risk assessments shows that qualified first aiders are not needed, an appointed person (1 day course) to take care of the organisations first aid provisions etc.
We have training facilities in The Old Courthouse, Dukinfield, near Manchester, which provide a warm, clean and comfortable environment for your delegate’s learning. We are located conveniently for access to the motorway network around Manchester and public transport links giving easy access to Manchester and the North West UK. We also have free parking for over 80 cars and if we should fill that there is ample free street parking.
