It is widely accepted that the IOSH Managing Safely training course is one of the best resources available for giving managers the information that they need to manage Health and Safety. That is why we have had so much success with this training.
Our clients and potential clients alike have told us that there is a problem with the IOSH Managing Safely course – it is difficult to release managers for a four day block, especially in the current business environment.
We spend a great deal of time analysing the services that we provide. In this case we found that we could answer to the needs of our clients. We are very pleased to announce that from 12 July 2010 we will be offering this course split over a number of weeks.
We will still be offering the already scheduled 4 day IOSH Managing Safely block courses but there is now the option of taking courses run over two days on two consecutive weeks or even one day per week over four weeks.
We also heard from some people who were worried about not being able to pass the course. Academic ability is not necessarily a prerequisite for managers or people who manage Health and Safety. It is only essential that they understand what they need to do and how to do it. Again we listened to what we were being told. We now offer our IOSH Managing Safely training courses with this guarantee – If anyone attends our course and fails to gain a high enough assessment or project score to gain certification from IOSH we will re-teach and re-assess as many times as is needed to gain a pass. Not only did we listen to the point about releasing managers for block periods and how individuals have concerns about assessment performance etc but we know how difficult some organisations are finding the current market situation. You can have your IOSH Managing Safely in a four day block, two days at a time or one day at a time all for the same price. If anyone needs to be re-taught and re-assessed we will do this for no extra charge, no matter how many times we need to do it.
